Great meeting on Wednesday, thank you to all those who could make it! We had a wonderfully informative speaker from TFA come talk to us about the corps and the impact of the program on lower-income schools. Here is some important information to know before next week:

  • Please email me at [email protected] if you can come to the Racial Justice Story Circle Program on Wednesday April 3rd from 7 to 8 PM (then we can head to our meeting). It will be in L151. We really need EPSJ representation there!
  • On Monday April 1st we have a documentary screening hosted by LiNK: Liberty in North Korea in L151 (Time to be Announced, but plan on it being at 7 PM...we're trying to move it to 8 PM because of an Emerald Empowerment event)
  • On Tuesday April 2nd at 8 PM in Walker 202 we are co-sponsoring a screening of "The Invisible War" (a documentary about sexual assault in the military) with Kappa Gamma Chi
  • At our next Wednesday meeting (April 3rd) we will be having a speaker from Cradles to Crayons come speak to us!

We have a lot going on next week, so if you can, please try to make it to as many events as possible and show your support.

Our merchandise has arrived and we will be handing it out to you for FREE at our next meeting! If you want to hear about Cradles to Crayons and get some awesome EPSJ swag, be sure to be at our Wednesday meeting from 8 to 9 PM in Walker 416!

Remember to email me ([email protected]) about getting involved in the racial justice story circle. This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved in a significant conversation and societal dialogue with professionals and Emerson faculty.

Peacefully,

Dylan Manderlink & Christian Bergren-Aragon

P.S Only 2 more Emerson's AIM to End Violence events left! The "Bully Plays" with Kidding Around at 5-6:30 PM tonight in the MPR and the letter writing event on Saturday March 30th from 12 to 4 PM in the MPR! Please continue to show your support!
